Edge Motorsport is owned and operated by Australian racing car driver, Dean Canto.

Dean has been involved with motorsport in some form since he was a child. Starting out in go karts, Dean went on to race in numerous Australian racing categories before winning the inaugural second tier Supercars category (then called the Konica V8 Lites). He then moved in to the main Supercars series. Still a regular in the Pirtek Endurance Cup, Dean is also still occasionally racing in other Supercar support categories such as the Australian GT series and the Toyota 86 series (as a guest driver).

As well as being a fully qualified Panel Beater, Dean also works as an engineer and driving coach for the next generation racing drivers - working with drivers in categories including Super 3, Super 2 and Australian GT. It goes without saying, Dean lives and breathes race cars.

In 2015, Edge Motorsport became the Australian dealer for the HDX2 in-car camera system from Race Keeper and then added the VBOX system to the line up in 2018.

With Dean’s extensive background in motorsport, he not only knows the products well, he also knows what race car drivers and teams are wanting from these systems. His wealth of knowledge means he can make sure you get the system that’s right for you and provide support to make sure you’re getting the most out of your system.

In 2019, Edge became an Australian dealer for Forgeline Wheels. The forged alloy wheels are custom made and come in a range of sizes and finishes so they're suitable for a variety of applications.

In 2020, Edge Motorsport diversified into car care and added the BigBoi blowers to their product line up.
